Indeed and undoubtedly, another year has already gone by. Another year of memories, of trials and temptations, of worries and frustrations, of happiness and also remorse. Still, all in all, all that has happened, could be for a reason and the full understanding of it, shalt not be understood by mere human thoughts but by Christ and Christ alone. I believe whatever He's done in my life, is for his divine purpose. So lets see.....i'll start from Dec itself.
Man, December 08 was really a pretty harsh month. Harsh as in, was way way way busy. Had lotsa stuff to do, to think, to carry out; i even had to go shopping as a task. Lolz......There were so many events; such as YF carolling, YF camp, FYP, etc, etc. lolz.....I guess i really lost my time management for that entire month. lolz. was kinda too busy doing YF stuff and kinda neglected or shud i say nearly totally neglected my studies, not forgetting the fact that i went for holidays. lolz. But still, i got do my work and study lar. lolz....
Lets see....This year, i was appointed Logistics Coordinator of YF camp. Weirdly. I never knew that ppl actually saw that i COULD manage to be one of e coordinators. Coz u know lar, jo-Saiya ma, like to play play play oni, where know how to work de hor? lolz....Hmmm....So, the coordinators are such as me, Emily, Beat Rice (hehehe...), Joel, IvanYap, William, and KitYan, and spear-headed by Andrew + Pas.Mike and wife. Hahahaha....what a weird combo of coordinators eh? All oso like to play play wan. lolz. Esp Andrew...aiyok! Camp Main Coordinator is most playful de, YET, serious when its time for seriousity. ( got such word a? lolz... ) Well, got so many so many meetings, i oso boleh pengsan. Got times say meeting 2-4.30, but see see....meeting until nearly 7pm oso got seh! lolz....but come to think of it, when the camp was on, it went pretty well. And i kinda miss the meetings. LOLS!!!!
Hmmm....Den 15-19Dec, me go for Langkawi trip lor. With abby, ariel, jiun ee, vivian, kok wai and kuan yuen (hope no spell wrong lolz. ) Well, so far, i onli know abby and ariel. I dun really know ariel, just know her from AFAR. lolz....heard of her lar i mean. Lolz. But well, its pretty cool. The guys were rocking and the girls sizzling. Lolz. Sweat eh? Hahahahahha....Well, i like yet dislike the trip....Wanna know y? Ask me! lalalalallala.....lolz. Fine i'll state it here, later receive gila babi banyak calls den mampus. Lols....i like the trip coz i'm FREE!!!! i dun like the trip coz....i be chaffeur. =.=" Sweat.....Super super zhatou! lets say got 5 ppl got car license. Nobody bring, except me + abby. Sweat. Den hor, ok lor. See see, rent car tat time, KANASAI ONLY MANUAL CAR!!! walao weh.....the last time i ever drove a manual was when i was sitting for my car license test like 2yrs ago. zzzzz......lolz. but well, terpaksa lor. Den drive hor, super super tired and leg pain, but abby can't really drive manual. lolz. sweat. oh well. lolz. nvm. hahaa.
But good oso la, i can drive manual again. Lolz........... :)
Den comes YF camp. Adui....YF camp. its COOL. its RockIng~ Yet, where there are happiness, there are also sad times. Rite? Lol...Some freaking "smart" freak broke my sunnies, aka shades. I took like 30mins to buy that sunnies of mine, and some stupid freak go break it. And nobody in my room admits, pushing the blame to the person that cleans the room. kanasai.....lol. but watever, i go buy new one. lolz. Anyway, camp was pretty refreshing, the speaker was cun, and the presence of God; exhilarating, astounding, fun, fantastic, mega, divine, powerful, crazy gila cun, super cun, and all the words u can call it. lolz.
Ok, den its countdown. Lolz....This is one weird thing. I was actually on duty on 31/12/08 at church playing the keyboard for watchnight service. I actually wanted to ask someone to take over coz i wanna go countdown....Lolz. But after thinking, i decided to serve God instead of being in the world. For the song goes, "One day in the house of the Lord is, better than a thousand days in the world." And therefore, ok la, i decided to serve. AND THEN!!!!!! on 29/12 or 30/12, forgot when, i received mail that the CHINESE WORSHIP will take over on watchnight service. Then i think think think....."Prob God is saying, "Josiah, u can go your countdown this year, since u're faithful in serving and you made a choice to serve me instead of going to the world."" Hahahaha....well, i interpret it THIS WaY. lolz. But come to think of it, i believe that happened, for a reason. So......i go countdown lor. XD
And ka-baam! i went to The Curve. And omgossshz! The fireworks at Curve were like blasting in the skies for 15mins STRAIGHT....I tell u that sight was amazing. The Curve shot fireworks from 2 different locations, which means that the total amount of fireworks was a staggering 30mins if it was fired from only 1 location. And guess what? 1 Utama also had fireworks, which lasted pretty long, but miraculously, it lasted shorted than The Curve in duration. Wow right? 1 Utama shud be lasting for 1hour long but....lose flat to The Curve, in duration-wise. But i have to admit, 1U de fireworks nicer. lolz....
And so....That was how i ended 2008 and welcomed 2009. Not bad countdown tho. Kinda like it despite the crowd. Lolz. Well, we live once only, myself enjoy everything there is in life rite? 1st time for me tho. lolz.
Anyway.....as i reflect on 2008, i see alot of changes in me, of coz i'm not gonna "blurt" it out here rite? lolz. its PNC. lolz. Life ain't a bed of roses, for EVEN IF IT IS a bed of roses, do remember, roses have thorns. And those thorns, will poke you, if u dun realize their existence and jump straight into the bed of roses. (If you get my metaphore.)
The bed of roses for 2008 :
1) My prediction of 3-months came true.
2) I din cheat in exams.
3) Reconciliation in many ways, and of course, many people.
4) Being part of F5 cg
5) Can go Genting, Langkawi, PD.
and not forgetting
6) God's grace, let me live thru 2008
7) ---many more, can't rmbr. lolz. ---
My thorns for 2008 :
1) No cheating resulted in failure in exams. But still, by His grace and mercy, i stood up again and passed my entire test in a week.
2) Being too greedy resulting in choosing the wrong Final Year group which could lead to destruction.
3) Play too many games? (can consider bully wen play wit frens. lolz. )
4) Due to Langkawi, missed 4days of class. lolz.
5) Cold wars with certain people due to certain reasons. At least, that issue, is kinda settled.
6) MY LAPTOP IS DESTROYED!!!!!! special thanks to my bro, who played it during a thunderstorm. My laptop burned, modem exploded, and router short-circuited. TRIPLE KILL~~!!!
7) --many more, can't rmbr as well. lolz. ---
Well, Good bye 2008. I will miss thee. But as the newcomer 2009 comes. I'll try to love 2009 more. For 2008 u're the past, and 2009, you're now. Many many things i have to reconsider. Many many things i'm still thinking of. And many many things, i have to settle. So as the new year is here, God you know what u have in store for me for this year. So as i surrender my life to Thee, Ye shalt grant me the desires of my heart and soul, not forgetting that you're the true and Almighty One. And with this, i shalt end this post.
